Saydet el Blata (Our Lady of the Blata) is a Maronite church in Bchaaleh village, originally constructed on a flat rock (“Blata”) in the 1500s. The church has undergone several restorations over the years, including major renovations in the 1970s, and is locally renowned for its annual feast on August 14, the eve of the Assumption of Mary.
